The Cub Pack's Sponsored Silence Helps Local Needy Children

The Cub Pack recently held a sponsored silence, in order to raise funds to buy Christmas gifts for local needy children. The Cubs prepared for the event by collecting sponsorship donations from their family and friends. In total, over £120 was raised, which was used to buy a variety of toys.

The gifts that were bought were presented to Mr Eric Milne, the manager of a local shipping centre that had arranged the City-wide appeal for gifts for local needy children. Mr Milne was delighted with the Cubs' hard work, and thanked them all during his visit to the Pack meeting.
