| A
Scout Troop Activity Report
During June 2002, Inverness Area Scout Council ran an inter-troop event,
the TRASH Trophy (TRASH stood for Totally Riotous Area
Scout Happening!), called 'Highlander - the Challenge'.
The event was attended by most local Scout troops, who all fought hard
for the coveted trophy!

The Challenge was a series of inter-troop games
around the theme of the Highland Clearances, and included games where
troops had to defend their 'sheep' (leaders!) from opposing troops
(clans), build their clachans (defences) and even rescue their fair
maidens from the tower!
In the end, though, the Clan Crown fought the
hardest to win the trophy. The day was a great success, and all the
Scouts from the participating troops received a souvenir badge to show
their involvement in the greatest battle since Culloden! |
